When you purchase jewelry from Frosting Accessories, we want you to be completely satisfied. Our goal is to ensure that the quality, durability, and fit match your expectations. If for any reason, you are not satisfied, please contact us. Please keep in mind that our jewelry is handmade and should be treated as such.

What is Etsy.com and why does your website direct me there when I view your jewelry?
Etsy is an ecommerce website focused on handmade or vintage items. Frosting Accessories set up a shop on Etsy.com in December of 2010 so that we could reach more potential customers and more quickly and easily add new products to our shop.

If I want to make a purchase on line from your Etsy shop, do I need to set up an account with Etsy and PayPal?
Yes you will, but we promise you won’t be sorry! Etsy.com is the world's most vibrant handmade marketplace, offering millions of unique items from sellers in more than 150 countries. Setting up an account on both sites is as simple as choosing a login, password and entering some basic information.  And it doesn’t cost you anything to have an account.  Please contact us if you have any questions or prefer to make your purchase an alternate way.

Payment
Payment is processed securely through Paypal, either via credit card or with an existing account.

Shipping
Production of your jewelry may take up to three weeks, although we will try our best to get it to you sooner. If you have a special situation and need to receive your jewelry sooner than three weeks from the date of ordering, please let us know. Please keep in mind that all of our jewelry is handmade and we must allow for sufficient design time.  If an item is in stock, it will be shipped within one day of the receipt of payment.  Please contact us if you have any questions about the availability of your item.

Refunds and Exchanges
When you shop with us, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.  Our goal is for you to consider us your “go to” jewelry designer and come back again, again, and again!  We want to be sure that the fit, quality and durability meet your demands. If you purchase an item as listed with no adjustments or custom changes, you will be eligible for a full refund if your item is returned to us undamaged within 5 days of your receipt of said item.

When shipping your product back to us, please include the following:

  • Your name, address, phone number and e-mail address
  • Original sales receipt
  • Reason for return/exchange
  • If you would like a replacement piece or would prefer a merchandise credit

Once we have received your returned jewelry, we will be in contact with you to let you know when to expect your replacement or merchandise credit.

If your jewelry is created according to your specifications, your custom designed jewelry once created is not eligible for a full refund in most cases. You may return or exchange your jewelry within 7 days of receiving the item(s) with a 35% customization fee. To be sure your colors are going to work for you, be sure to order color samples first! We will send sample crystals to you at your request free of charge for you to compare to your wedding colors. Please contact us if you would like us to send samples.

* Why the Customization Fee? The 35% customization fee covers a small amount of the materials lost when an item is returned (most items cannot be resold), and a percentage of the labor costs to make your jewelry.

PLEASE NOTE: Custom original pieces are nonrefundable. A custom original order includes designs that were created with collaboration between the designer and the customer which did not previously exist on our website. Custom original order does not refer to color changes.

Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax of 6.5% will be charged to orders with shipping addresses located in the state of Ohio.

I don’t see exactly what I’m looking for in your collection.  Can I place a special order?

Do you design Custom Wedding Jewelry?
Absolutely!  Frosting Accessories has designed custom jewelry for many brides and their attendants for their big day.  You can click on the Bridal section on our home page or contact us on line or by phone at 440-368-2538 to discuss your ideas.

How do I determine what size jewelry to order?
To determine the correct bracelet size, measure your wrist across the wrist bone and add one inch to get your proper size.

Women’s Bracelet Sizes:
XS-7 inches                  S-7.25 inches                M-7.5 inches                 L-8 inches

Children’s Bracelet Sizes (all children’s bracelets come with an additional “room to grow” extension chain which adds an inch to each bracelet.  This allows the child to continue to wear the bracelet as they get older.)

What is the best way to prevent my jewelry from tarnishing and to care for my sterling silver jewelry?
To keep your Sterling Silver jewelry as beautiful as the day you bought it, please follow the instructions below. 

To prevent your sterling silver jewelry from tarnishing, you should store it in an air tight container such as the zip lock bag provided with your purchase or in an anti-tarnish jewelry bag.

Sterling Silver tarnishes from the interaction of silver and sulfides in the air.   First the tarnish will take on a golden hue, and eventually, it will turn the piece black.  This is a natural process. Higher sulfide levels are associated with humidity and/or air pollution.

Sterling silver will polish up by rubbing or buffing it with a chemically treated cloth, like a Sunshine Cloth.  Sunshine cloths can be purchased from Frosting Accessories for $5.00 per cloth.

What is your Privacy Policy?
At Frosting Accessories, we are committed to protecting your privacy and use the information we collect solely for our own business purposes.  We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.  We may from time to time, send you information on special sales and promotions.  If you would prefer to not receive this information, please let us know.
